Dear Botanicals

Emily is a former documentary television producer who established her career in her native Canada. After relocating to the Boston area, she produced for organizations such as NPR, PBS, and ABC News. Her superpower is empowering others to feel comfortable telling their stories - if you need to tackle a delicate situation or intimate subject matter, Emily is who you’d hire. However, after years of intense storytelling, Emily created Dear Botanicals as a way to find pleasure in the everyday, and to explore her own Taiwanese heritage. She currently lives in the Greater Boston area with her husband and two daughters.

• Are you bar soap or liquid?

  I couldn’t not answer this one, because obviously I am Team BOTH: Bar soap for bathing, liquid soap for hand washing and guests. 

• When there is nothing in the fridge, what is your go to meal?

  Instant ramen noodles, a fried egg, kimchi and greens on top.

• Tell us your hidden talent.

  I can wiggle my ears and raise one eyebrow (like The Rock), but not at the same time.
